(This restaurant also has a location in South Nashville, but it closes at 10 each night, keeping it off this list of late-night bites.)

Hoping to eat Nashville hot chicken while you are in town? You gotta start with the original. Prince’s is the business that started it all, and their food stall in the Assembly Food Hall, located at the corner of 5th and Broad, stays open until 1 am on the weekends. But that’s always how the Princes have rolled. Back when Thornton Prince III and his brothers started the business close to a century ago, the restaurant was a second job, something they did after hours.
