Nashville team building activities, built around great food

People have been coming together over a shared meal since the beginning of time. Add a story they didn't expect, silly and fun challenges, and maybe a little trash talk, and your team leaves closer than they arrived. Every team building activity we run in Nashville is private to your group and led by one of our senior guides.

Private Team Food Tour

Three hours, four to five locally owned restaurants, live music at a downtown honky-tonk, and the Nashville stories most visitors never hear. Walking tours for groups of 6 to 120.

Photo Scavenger Hunt

New for 2026. Add a guide-led photo scavenger hunt to your tour, from $25 per person. Teams compete on their own phones for points, bonus awards, and bragging rights.

Food Tour + Scavenger Hunt

Our favorite combination for corporate team building. The food gets people talking. The hunt gets them laughing, and working together without noticing they're doing it.

Custom Events up to 300

For big groups and conference offsites, we build custom food, music, and interactive experiences in private venues, planned around your schedule and your goals.

Team building events in Nashville

Nashville team building events, done the local way

Downtown Nashville is a gift for team building events. The food, the music, and the history all sit within a few walkable blocks, so your team spends the afternoon exploring Nashville together instead of on a bus. Instead of a hotel ballroom and a name-tag icebreaker, they eat at locally owned restaurants, hear live music at a honky-tonk, team up for a photo scavenger hunt, and actually talk to each other along the way.

If you're looking for fun team building activities in Nashville, TN that work for the whole group, this is it. There's no athletic skill required, no one gets put on the spot, and non-drinkers have just as good a time. We've hosted teams from Amazon, Deloitte, and American Express, more than 5,500 corporate guests across 350+ private events since 2018, including more than 1,000 in 2026 alone.

Hi, I'm Christine · Est. 2018

I personally quote every team event that comes in

I started A Little Local Flavor in 2018 because I couldn't find a tour I'd actually take my own friends on. Eight years later we have hosted more than 24,000 guests, including 5,500+ corporate guests across 350+ private events.

"You'll get a real person, a real plan, and a real answer."

I built the photo scavenger hunt because planners kept asking for something that gets a team laughing together, not just eating together. Tell me about your group and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

Nashville team building FAQ

Three. A private walking food tour through downtown Nashville for groups of 6 to 120. A guide-led photo scavenger hunt you can add to that tour, played in teams on your own phones. And custom food, music, and interactive experiences in private venues for groups up to 300. Every one is private to your group and planned around your schedule.

Your group splits into teams and everyone joins on their own phone by scanning a code. Teams earn points for photo and short video challenges tied to the streets and stops on your route. A live scoreboard keeps score, your guide hands out guide's choice awards like Silliest Photo, and a mystery final challenge unlocks near the end. When the hunt ends, the full gallery appears on every phone.

It is part of the tour. The hunt runs alongside your private or corporate food tour, with your guide leading both, so the challenges happen between and at the restaurant stops. It can add a little time to the tour. We do not offer it as a stand-alone event yet.

Private team tours start at $165 per person, plus the 20% service fee and Tennessee sales tax (9.75%). Alcohol and non-alcohol packages are available, and smaller groups are priced higher per person to cover guide and venue minimums. The photo scavenger hunt is an optional add-on: $25 per person for the first 20 guests, then $20 per person after that, with a $300 minimum. The same 20% service fee and Tennessee sales tax apply. Your custom quote spells out the exact total for your group.

Walking food tours work for 6 to 120 guests. Larger groups split across multiple guides on parallel routes that reunite at the final stop. For events up to 300 guests, we build custom food, music, and interactive experiences in private venues.

No. The hunt opens in your phone's web browser from a code your guide shares. Each player enters a name and email and agrees to a short photo release before playing.

Every player gets an email with a link to the full gallery, so your team leaves with the photos from the whole group, not just their own camera roll. Photos carry a small A Little Local Flavor wordmark in the corner.

Plan on three hours for the food tour: four to five locally owned restaurants, live music at one stop, and your guide the whole way. Adding the photo scavenger hunt can add a little time.

Yes. Team events can start anytime between 11am and 7:30pm, so an evening start after a conference day is easy. If you're staying downtown, we can meet at your hotel, office, or conference venue and walk over together.

Yes. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and most allergies are accommodated with notice, and each restaurant on your route is briefed in advance. Non-alcohol packages are available, and nobody needs a drink in hand to have a great time.

We recommend 6 to 12 weeks ahead, especially during peak season (April through October and December). Last-minute requests are sometimes possible. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have on dates and custom touches.
